**IEP Planning and review

The purpose of an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) is to discuss and plan for your child’s IEP.

We realize that sometimes you just need a bit of assistance to know what to ask for from your child’s school system, and how stressful it can be getting prepared for the TEAM meeting.

We request that parents forward to our office staff a copy of the current IEP as well as the latest set of evaluations.  Upon receipt, we can then determine what your next steps should be for school services.

These clinics can cover any year of school services (from ages 3 to 22) depending on the age of your child. These include:

  • Early Intervention transitioning to school
  • Pre-School through High School
  • High School transitioning to Next Steps
**Temporarily Unavailable - Please check back.

Make and Take Visual Systems

The Community Autism Resources Visual System Clinic’s goal is to define the specific need, create a visual system to meet that need, and discuss how to implement the use of this system.

The strength that people with ASD show with understanding visual information has tremendous implications for behavioral support, self-regulation, communication & educational programming.

Alternate Meeting Locations

We do not expect all the families in our region to travel to our Taunton Office. If you are unable to travel to our office, please speak to the CAR personnel you are scheduled to meet with to discuss an alternate meeting location in a mutually agreed upon public place (i.e., library, mall food court, designated community room, etc.)
