Meet the GAP team

The team at GAP is so glad you're here. We love letting you get to know us a bit, and it's our hope that you'll join us for one of our Orientation Sessions so that we can get to know you as well! You can find more information about upcoming informational sessions here (link to something) and feel free to reach out with any questions!

Mary Fox

PEERS Certified Provider and Animal Care Instructor

There are two things I love most in life; animals and making friends. I am lucky enough that I get to share both of my passions with the students in GAP. In Pre-school, I was dubbed "the social butterfly". That title still rings true to this day. In 2019, I went out to the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, CA to get certified in the PEERS program. Since then I have loved giving people the tools they need to be able to make and keep meaningful relationships. I also love animals. I've grown up with all kinds of animals in my life. Since I was born, we've always had a dog (or two) in our home. I had a horse for 20 years that was my best friend and therapist. I love cats, cows, goats, and bunnies. I prefer my animals have 4 legs and fur, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to learn about and share my knowledge about all animals.

What do you enjoy most about being a part of GAP?

I love watching the students grow throughout their 3 years at GAP. Seeing our students gain confidence and learn new skills that they can take into the work force has been amazing.

Fun Fact About Me

I am the youngest of 5 girls and there aren't 5 people on this Earth that are any more different than the 5 of us.
