Social Skills Arts and Crafts {Dartmouth}

An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Monday, repeating until April 17, 2019
Throughout the five weeks, the group members will have the opportunity to explore various art mediums and creative projects. This group is to encourage creativity and expression. We will embed social skills in the context of the activities – working on cooperation, constructive criticism, expressing ideas, compliments, etc.
Wednesdays
March 20 – April 17, 2019
Ages 10-14 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm
Ages 15-19 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Week 1 – Perler Bead Magnets
Week 2 – Painting
Week 3 – Origami
Week 4 – Sock Puppets
Week 5 – Pin Making
The group will be facilitated by Shannon M. Witter, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist.
Minimum requirements for group members include basic conversational skills and the ability to stay with a group without wandering.
