Comic Books Social Group – Ages 15-19

An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 18, 2019

(no class November 27th)
Group members will invent characters and design an original four panel comic. Creativity and conversation surrounding common interest of comic books, web comic and graphic novels will be encouraged. Social skills will be embedded into the context of the activities.
Week 1 – Talking About Comics
Week 2 – Sketching Characters
Week 3 – Four Panel Comic
Week 4 – Coloring
Week 5 – Group Cover
Week 6 – Catch Up Day/Game
The group will be facilitated by Shannon M. Witter, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist.
Minimum requirements for group members include basic conversational skills and ability to stay with a group without wandering.
