SUMMARY:Social Skills Arts and Crafts {Dartmouth}
DESCRIPTION:Throughout the five weeks\, the group members will have the opportunity to explore various art mediums and creative projects. This group is to encourage creativity and expression. We will embed social skills in the context of the activities – working on cooperation\, constructive criticism\, expressing ideas\, compliments\, etc. \n  \nWednesdays\nMarch 20 – April 17\, 2019\nAges 10-14 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm\nAges 15-19 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm \nWeek 1 – Perler Bead Magnets\nWeek 2 – Painting\nWeek 3 – Origami\nWeek 4 – Sock Puppets\nWeek 5 – Pin Making \nThe group will be facilitated by Shannon M. Witter\, MS\, CCC-SLP\, Speech-Language Pathologist. \nMinimum requirements for group members include basic conversational skills and the ability to stay with a group without wandering. \nThis group is FREE\, but space is limited. Pre-registration is required to attend prior to Friday\, March 15\, 2019. You must pre-register via our website: http://www.community-autism-resources.com under the Events section.
