DESCRIPTION:The Hearts & Hands Walk/5K Run for Autism and Family Fun Day is our SIGNATURE fundraiser! We depend on our annual Walk/5K to raise funds to continue to provide the FREE and vital services & supports to children\, adults and their families\, as they face the everyday challenges of living with Autism Spectrum Disorders. When you support CAR\, you can rest assured that all of the money raised stays local & will help improve the lives of people living with Autism\, their families and their communities! \n “JOIN NOW” and choose which event\, (walk or 5K)\, you are registering for. Creating your fundraising page DOES NOT register you or your team for the walk or 5K. ** \nTHIS EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE! \nWalk Information: The walk is approximately 2 miles and can be done at your own pace and is not timed. Strollers are welcomed. \nThere is no registration fee to walk or a fundraising minimum to participate however; we strongly encourage participants/teams to create fundraising pages to get your family/friends/co-workers/community to support you/your team in your fundraising efforts for this very important event!  \nAll games\, activities\, prizes\, & refreshments are FREE as a thank you to all for their efforts in helping to take action and raise money for this event! \nWalkers who raise a minimum of $60.00 in donations\, and who have registered by Thursday\, August 29\, 2019\, will receive an Official Walk T-shirt. Example: a team of 10 will need to raise $600 to receive a shirt for each team member. \n5K Information: The 5K is a 3.1 mile road race and is a timed race. We ask that anyone who registers for the 5K runs this race and does not register for the race to have a longer walk. If participants choose the 5K and choose to walk instead of run\, to compete for a time\, unfortunately\, they will not receive a time. Strollers are welcomed for all runners. \nThere is an early bird registration fee of $25 for all runners who participate in the 5K. Day of registration will be $30. DESCRIPTION:This class runs from May 9th\, 2019 through June 13th\, 2019. Our classes help your child develop balance\, coordination\, focus\, listening skills and much more. Each class combines fun cardiovascular exercises with martial arts training drills that will challenge and help build self-esteem through positive reinforcement. No matter what the situation\, your child will develop an “I CAN” attitude to achieve any goal. If you work hard enough you will achieve it! Our classes will show your child that physical fitness is fun and rewarding.
