This 2 hour workshop is a very basic introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder and is good for parents of newly diagnosed children, for grandparents/family members or those wanting to get a basic overview of ASD.
Content will include:

• Current statistics on ASD
• An overview of the central areas of challenge often associated with ASD including information on: Communication, Sensory, Social, Executive function challenges, and Behavior
• What we are learning about girls on the spectrum
• A few considerations for helpful supports
• Time will be allotted for questions.
